UMass Boston Vision Studies Scholarship and Academic Excellence Winners

Two students in the TVI program will receive the Zermas Scholarship from the Lowell Association for the Blind on May 14th. The winners, Nalida Besson and Trish Epstein, are wonderful students and very deserving.

This year, the recipients of the Vision Studies/ICI Award for Academic Excellence in TVI and O&M are Karen Liljigren and Kara Ahern, respectively. The Academic Excellence awards are based on scholarship and engagement in the vision community. They will both receive book awards and recognition at the UMass Convocation, on Thursday, May 28th.
