Braille Transcriber - #BVI00182

The Virginia of the Department for the Blind and Vision Impaired (DBVI) is seeking a Braille Transcriber to produce and edit computer Braille textbook transcriptions for use by blind children in Virginia; to correct Braille transcriptions; to organize and manage generated Braille orders.

Qualifications

Extensive computer experience; knowledge of data processing and working with data bases. Experience transcribing Technical Math. Braille software and transcription software, and various Braille embossers. Unified English Braille transcriber certification. Ability to organize.
