The Northeast chapter is an international chapter that includes Quebec and the Maritime provinces (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland & Labrador) in Canada, and the six New England States (Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Vermont). We strive to have representatives on our board from all of our locations. If you are interested in becoming involved, please reach out at info [at] neaerbvi.org

The Mission of the Northeast Chapter of the Association for Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind and Visually Impaired (NE/AER) is to support professionals who provide education and rehabilitation to individuals with visual impairments. This includes offering members Continuing Education and Professional Development via workshops, conferences, networking opportunities, and excellence recognition. NE/AER also provides public advocacy for its members, the vision profession as a whole, and the individuals who are impacted by these services. Our vision is to strive to reach the highest standards of knowledge and excellence through member benefits and services.

Here you will find information about our chapter, news and activities that we are involved in or are planning. On the side of this page, you will find links to any new information or time sensitive material. Please check back with us often so that you don't miss anything!
